I am a creative Jr. Web Developer, Jr. Web Designer, programming curriculum developer & Web Development Instructor.
I graduated with a degree in Web Development and have been building websites as well as a several college level programming and web development curriculum since then.
My focus is on creating engaging, accessible & performant interfaces for humans.
Teaching web development is also a passion of mine. I have worked at various high schools in the metro area and have taught a variety of different accelerated college level web development courses at AIM Code School.

Local cover band, voted Best of Omaha the past four years in a row! This project was centered around taking the band's Wordpress website and revamping the design as well as its digital content. In addition, during this project, I also upgraded the website's security features to ensure user's data be as safe and encrypted as possible. The website is better than ever and now Lemon Fresh Day Fans can support their favorite band by securely purchasing cool merchendise.
I built this project because I have a love and passion for React.My ultimate dream is to become an expert React application developer. However, I am self taught in React and while I was working a full-time job and being a mother outside of work hours, I did not have a lot of free time to use my knowledge to build react applications. So, since I now have some time available to me, I have been creating small projects to stregthen my skills using React!
This project has a one or two image placement design hiccups on the mobile responive side (I had lost some assets to this project before I had the chace to update it!)This was built using Nice Page which is a software that assist with building mobile friendly websites with clean HTML and CSS code. This software is available as a plugin on Wordpress and Joomla to use for a more personal design.
I was picked to create and present a video walkthrough of how to create a basic React application from scratch at the Heartland Developers Conference held every year in Omaha, NE held by AIM Institute. AIM’s annual Heartland Developers Conference has been providing world-class content to the Silicon Prairie developer community for over 15 years. In this presentation I covered all the basics of Reactjs such as Nodejs, JSX, Props, States, Components, and much more.
